Blog 8: PERSONAL OPINIONS

In today's post I will write my personal opinion on 4 different topics. First, child labor. About this I consider that it is a phenomenon that should not happen and that represents a violation of human rights towards children and adolescents. Likewise, I believe that combating this phenomenon is not enough with laws or their prohibition, but that it is necessary to implement a public policy of labour inspection and sanctioning of the industries that generate working spaces for children. In this sense, I also believe that it is necessary to improve the social policy for the protection of children's rights and the Senate institution, since both mechanisms not only reproduce injustices and violations of the right to childhood, but also state inaction against companies, reducing this type of problem to family responsibility. The second topic I will reflect on will be recycling, this topic is not in itself problematic, I believe that all or most of us are aware of its benefits, however, I will say something conflictive. It is not enough to cultivate recycling. It is necessary to readjust the neoliberal forms of production and the extractive approaches according to which the State relates to the territories, in such a way, that the environment is recognized like a subject of right that deserves state protection. Thirdly, I will reflect on tattoos. In my opinion, tattoos are very beautiful and I think they are an excellent means of reconfiguring your aesthetics as you wish. In any case, I do not think it is necessary to have significant reasons for getting a tattoo; it is enough to like them and that is it. As a matter of fact, when the pandemic has end I want to make me a tattoo of the sun in my back. Finally, I will talk about a subject that hurts me a little. The killing of stray dogs to avoid health problems and overpopulation of animals is found to be a horrible phenomenon and one that makes the specificity of the contemporary world visible. If it depended on me, I would punish those who commit these atrocities and create a protocol of global action to protect these animals and promote their adoption. I believe that by doing that people could adopt more dogs and the huge number of abandoned dogs and stray dogs could be stopped a little. I hope you like my opinion, bye!
