Blog 6: POSTGRADUATE STUDIES

Today's post is related to postgraduate courses that I would like to take in the future, in some moments of reflection this possibility has assaulted my mind. I have a considerable interest marked by two areas in which I would like to deepen that I would cover by taking postgraduate courses of Sociology of the body or something related to this area. The reasons I have for doing this are many, really many, on the one hand I am passionate about the study of the body as a socio-cultural construct and the concept of doing a doctorate ahahah. But beyond that, the main reason is that I feel that this area of study has declined and ignored the current state of dissenting bodies. In studying this, my goal would be to simultaneously investigate and confirm some of my hypotheses regarding how the neoliberal model has impacted the perception and valuation of the body according to its level of productivity. Blog 4: a book you should read

Hi everyone, today I'm going to talk to you about a book you should read. This one is called Aristoreles and Dante discovering the universe.  This book is written by Benjamin Alire Saenz and narrates the story of two friends: Aristotle and Dante ahahah, they are teenage boys who grow up together and have slightly different personalities, one is quiet and calm, the other restless and passionate about learning. The story begins in the 80's and tries to develop the bonds that are generated between both teenagers, some tribal problems and the distance when one of them moves to another city. The plot is beautiful and very complete. Something I like a lot about this book is that it touches on very interesting and new topics; love between friends and homosexual relationships.
